The Mac & Cheese Affair is a radio play that takes place over the phone in the time it takes to cook a box of Mac and Cheese;  and designed by Aramael and Simone, and our wonderful team of actors, photographers, models, directors, and artists.

Each order of The Mac & Cheese Affair includes an multi-part radio drama, and a box of mac and cheese. Assembly is required, and you’ll likely need milk and butter but this is your experience, feel free to customize your dish however you’d like.

The Mac & Cheese Affair is designed to take place in the time it takes to pull together a simple weeknight dinner. We find it typically takes about 30 minutes.

Yes, and if you’re keeping tabs this is round seven of Ninety Nine's delightful brewing experiments.

The Mac & Cheese Affair is designed to be experienced either solo or together. Technically the box has three servings, but if you’re like Aramael the entire box is just for you. If you’re in doubt, think about how many boxes of macaroni and cheese you’d buy from a grocery store.

We like to think so, but then again we don’t have children. The experience may be inappropriate for children under 13, due to mild violence, peril, thematic elements, and occasional crude and suggestive humor and language. Adult supervision is required, you are cooking after all.

Nope. While Aramael and Simone will adding some delightful beer to our The Mac & Cheese Affair you don’t have to, and if you’re under 21, probably shouldn’t be.

Dried foods have been around since the dawn of time, in the form of spices, beans and soup mixes. They're convenient food choices and easy to prepare during a busy day. By using our dry cheese sauce mix and adding your own milk and margarine or butter, you can make your batch of The Mac & Cheese Affair fresh anytime.

We believe convenience doesn't have to mean sacrificing an amazing taste.

This is your bowl of mac and cheese, so you can do whatever you want. We provide suggestions and recommendations for what we think are the best results. That being said, here are some common substitutions:

- Margarine, spread or butter can be used to prepare The Mac & Cheese Affair.

- Whole, 2% or skim milk can be used to prepare The Mac & Cheese Affair.

If desired, your The Mac & Cheese Affair can be made without milk or butter but the texture of the prepared product will vary from recommended preparation.

The proper way to store The Mac & Cheese Affair is at room temperature in a cool, dry place.  This will ensure the product is perfect for consumption when opened (but must be used by the "Best By" date stamped on the box).

We've never had leftover The Mac & Cheese Affair, so we're not entirely sure how to help. But according to our food experts, your remaining cooked The Mac & Cheese Affair should be stored in the refrigerator at normal refrigerator temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do not leave remaining cooked The Mac & Cheese Affair unrefrigerated for longer than 1 hour. Use leftover cooked The Mac & Cheese Affair within 2 to 3 days.

We do not recommend freezing leftover The Mac & Cheese Affair.  The taste, texture and appearance of the product after it's been frozen and reheated will be unsatisfactory, as pasta will become mushy and/or sauce may clump together.

Unfortunately, our Chef's don't recommend reheating these pasta varieties since reheating the product won't provide the taste and texture quality of the original product-it's best if eaten just after preparation.  Otherwise the product tends to clump together and there's no good method for restoring the original texture.

Shipping Questions

We ship from fulfillment centers in New York and Los Angeles. Currently we’re only shipping to the contiguous United States. We're doing our best to start delivering to Alaska and Hawaii but unfortunately as a small company it's simply too expensive; as we grow we will start shipping to new locations, but the truth is, as a startup we're just not there yet. If you’re located in Canada and are interested, please reach out to us at boxoffice@getmacandcheese.com

Any name change or address updates should be sent boxoffice@getmacandcheese.com and we’ll happily take care of this for you.

We offer contactless delivery to some addresses in Los Angeles county in California. If your mailing address is eligible this will appear as an option during the checkout process.

If your tracking link shows that your order has been delivered but you can't find it, please first double check all the normal delivery dropoff locations around your house/apartment/building.

Sometimes, a missed scan can delay tracking details. Luckily, this usually resolves within a few days, and your package will arrive soon. However, if your tracking link is stuck, missing, or simply doesn't look right, please reach out to us at boxoffice@getmacandcheese.com we'll be more than happy to track down your order and make sure you get a delivery!

Oh no! If you think you’re package is lost, please reach out to us at boxoffice@getmacandcheese.com so that we can start a tracking system search to ferret out this missing package.

The tracking information we provide often won't update past the point of departure from the US since your shipment will be transferred to your local postal service for final delivery. If you haven't received your order in 20 business days from the day it was shipped, we would recommend contacting your local post or customs office as the package will likely be held there for you to pick up or claim.
